Bio

Deputy Chief Corey Davis began his fire service career in 2005 as a volunteer with the Bradley County Volunteer Fire Department at the age of 18. In 2007, he attended the Tennessee State Fire Academy, earning his Firefighter I & II certifications through live burn training. Two years later, in 2009, he joined Bradley County Fire Rescue as a career firefighter, where he steadily advanced through the ranks, serving as Engine Lieutenant, Training Captain, Station/Rescue Captain, and Battalion Commander.

Throughout his career, Deputy Chief Davis has gained extensive knowledge and experience in fire suppression, incident command, hazardous materials response, swiftwater rescue, and fire academy instruction. He is dedicated to professional growth and continually seeks opportunities to enhance both his own leadership and the performance of his crews.

In 2025, Davis was appointed as Deputy Chief of Bradley County Fire Rescue, entrusted with upholding the proud legacy of the office, most recently carried by Deputy Chief Troy Maney, who retired in September of that year. Deputy Chief Davis remains committed to serving his community with integrity, excellence, and a deep respect for the traditions of the fire service.
